City player Kasilakshmi selected to play for the country in the third Asian Beach Kabaddi Championship was congratulated by Municipal Commissioner B. Ramanjaneyulu on Wednesday.
She left for the training camp to be organised at Gandhinagar in Gujarat from March 29 to June 16.
Assistant Collector Harichandana, District Kabaddi Association secretary V. Srinivas, coach Nageswara Rao and GVMC Sports Director Y. Srinivasa Rao were present.
The Commissioner on Wednesday went to the section concerned and got the work related to a Public Health tender done sitting with the computer operator. The work was getting delayed for the past two days.
