Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Regional Office, Bhubaneswar, has come out with special international and domestic tour packages from Visakhapatnam.
The international tour to Malaysia and Singapore from Visakhapatnam will be on March 24.
The duration of the international package tour, christened ‘Fascinating Far East’, is five nights and six days.
The package cost of Rs.63,200 per person includes flight ticket, accommodation, all transfers and sight seeing by AC vehicle, breakfast and dinner, tour escort, travel insurance, entry fee, boating, parking, toll charges and taxes, according to Kranti P. Sawarkar, Manager (tourism), IRCTC, Bhubaneswar.
The six-night seven-day domestic air package to Bengaluru-Mysuru-Ooty-Coorg, priced at Rs.21,005 per person, will begin from Visakhapatnam on March 10. Tourists could also avail of the summer special hill station tour ‘Charming Himachal’ to North India from Visakhapatnam for Rs.26,000 per person for six days and seven nights.
Around 90 per cent of the bookings to the Singapore and Malaysia package, conducted in December, 2015, were done by people from Visakhapatnam city, said Sanghamitra Roul from IRCTC, Bhubaneswar.
