The city is, in all probability, the first Smart City in the country and there is plenty of opportunity offered by the growing city, which encourages us to open the country’s first integrated format store housing all the four brands of Titan Company Ltd – Tanishq, Helios, Fastrack and Titan Eyeplus – company managing director Bhaskar Bhat has said.
Andhra Pradesh is a major market for us and a number of new stores of the 200 planned to be taken up this fiscal would come up in the State, he told the media at the inauguration of their integrated store here on Friday. The company is eyeing tier-II cities for expanding its presence, he added.
e-commerce is an opportunity and not a threat to brick and mortar retailing, he said. “We have been trying to blend the two and create an omni-channel,” Mr Bhat explained.
