Events lined up for Narasimha Chaturdasi

To mark Sri Narasimha Chaturdasi, celebrations are planned at a number of temples across the city on Sunday. International Society for Krishna Consciousness is presenting a special programme on its premises at Sagar Nagar. Besides bhajans, discourse by Mataji Nitai Sevini on Sri Narasimha Chaturdasi, presentation of drama on ‘Narasimha leela’, ‘abhishekam’ and ‘arati’ followed by distribution of prasadam are lined up for the devotees. The programme is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at ISKCON.

Packing a host of programmes, Hare Krishna Movement is celebrating the day at Sri Krishna Mandir, Sithammadhara. Sri Narasimha homa, discourse by president of the movement Niskinchana Bhakta Dasa, sankirtan, ‘arati’ and ‘prasadam’ distribution are some of the events scheduled for the day. Here, the celebrations will continue from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
