Learning karate and other martial arts would help girls to use their skills as self-defence, Mayor P. Janardhana Rao said on Monday. He was speaking after inaugurating a demonstration of karate skills by girl students of Seventh-Day Adventist School in MVP Colony.

All praise

Mr. Rao complimented Indian Modern Martial Arts Academy for training the students on martial arts.

Bike feat

Coach M.V. Ramana later drove a bike on the hands of the students and a car over some of them by putting a plank. Visakha East MLA V.R.K. Babu and local corporator Ch. Pattabhi were present.
