Academic block opened at JNTU-K college

Minister for Panchayat Raj Botcha Satyanarayana formally inaugurated the academic block-I of JNTU (K) College of Engineering, Vizianagaram campus on Sunday evening, while Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi, MP, opened the hostel blocks for girls and boys which have 108 and 109 rooms respectively.

Later, they planted saplings on the premises.

Allam Appa Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the university, Registrar V. Ravindra and Principal Ranga Janardhana, who accompanied them, informed about the works proposed on the campus.

Tenders have already been invited for construction of staff quarters, machine shop and production tech laboratory.

They were informed about the recent visit of UGC XI plan committee to the college.
