Renowned Telugu film lyricist Chandrabose was honoured with Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy Award on Monday by Veturi Sahithi Peetam and Sri Prakash Cultural Association at Tuni of East Godavari district on the occasion of 82nd birth anniversary of Veturi.
Payakaraopeta MLA Vanglapudi Anitha, Yanamala Krishnudu, Chairman of Market Committee, Tuni, Chakka Suryanarayana, president Kalaga Rama Jogeswara Sarma, founder president and secretaries of Veturi Sahithi Peetam , and Ch.V.K. Narasimha Rao and Ch. Vijay Prakash, president of secretary respectively of Sri Prakash Central Cultural Association felicitated Mr. Chandrabose.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anitha said that Veturi’s lyrics will be in the minds of lakhs of Telugu literary and film lovers. Mr. Vijay Prakash compared Veturi to an ocean of lyrics.
A musical night rendering the works of Veturi and Chandrabose regaled the audience. Later, Chandrabose said that he will continue to deliver best lyrics from his pen in future also.
