Secondary Education Minister K. Parthasarathy launched a new website of Vijayawada Guntur Tenali Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VMGTMUDA) -- www. vgtmuda.gov.in -- here on Monday.
On the occasion of formal launch, Mr. Parthasarathy said that the website would help people in accessing vital information pertaining to their grievances or applications. Many layouts have come up in and around Uyyur and the realtors claimed that they had got UDA approval.
However, upon visiting the website it was proved beyond doubt that their claims were not true.
Any commoner could make the best use of the website to know the facts and avail the services of the UDA, he said.
The website offers a section for public grievances and redressal system.
The people could lodge their grievances and give suggestions along with their contact details. The access to master plan was an important feature of the website as it helps the people in understanding the rules and regulations for developing new layouts or constructing a new house under the UDA limits.
In order to make common man aware of approved layouts in the UDA region, there was a dedicated section in planning department where all the approved layout details were posted with extents and approval details.
The UDA is planning to add one more feature, automation system wherein public could access details while applying for building plans or layout permissions online.
Vijayawada (Central) MLA Malladi Vishnu, VMGTMUDA Vice Chairman G.S.R.K.R. Vijay Kumar and others were present.
