A seven-year-old boy was knocked down by a school bus here on Saturday. The boy succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Vijayawada.
The parents of the deceased squatted in front of school demanding action against the school management. Till last reports, the parents and a good number of their supporters blocked school entrance raising slogans against the school management.
According to information, K. Sai, studying in second class of Chaitanya Techno School got down from the school bus at Raja gari centre near his residence here. The boy came under the wheels of the bus when the driver attempted to reverse the bus. The people shifted him to nearby hospital where the doctors advised them to take him to Vijayawada.
The police are investigating the case.
