The State government has appointed Ministers as district in-charge for each of the 13 districts, according to an order issued on Thursday.
Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao has been appointed as in-charge Minister for Srikakulam district. The other appointments are as follows: Ch. Sri Ranganadha Raju (Vizanaganaram), Mopidevi Venkata Ramana (Visakhapatnam), Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (East Godavari), Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose (West Godavari), Kurasala Kannababu (Krishna), Perni Venkataramaiah (Guntur), Anil Kumar Poluboina (Prakasam), Mekathothi Sucharitha (SPS Nellore), Botcha Satyanaranayana (Kurnool), Buggana Rajendranath (YSR Kadapa), Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy (Anantapur) and Mekapati Goutham Reddy (Chittoor) have been appointed as district in-charge Ministers.
The district in-charge will review and monitor the implementation of various government welfare schemes and developmental activities in the district.
