Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the ‘Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru’ programme at Vinukonda and Nagaram mandals on Wednesday.

According to the revised schedule released by the government, Mr. Naidu will land at the helipad on the premises of Loyola High School at Vinukonda at 10.15 a.m. and will take part in the ‘Neeru-Chettu,’ programme. Later, he will take part in the ‘Swach Andhra’ programme at the Government Junior College before leaving to Savalyapuram ZP School to launch the ‘Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru’ programme. He will address a public meeting too.

After the lunch break, the CM would fly to Nagaram mandal where he is scheduled to lay foundation stone for a lift irrigation scheme and take part in the Janmabhoomi programme.

Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao, Inspector General of Police P.V Sunil Kumar and Superintendent of Police P.H.D. Ramakrishna reviewed the arrangements at both Vinukonda and Nagaram.

Mr. Ramakrishna said that a fool-proof security was being made in view of the CM’s visit. The areas in Vinukonda where Mr. Naidu is scheduled to launch the Janmabhoomi programme had considerable Maoist presence in the past and the police have deployed anti-naxal squads and police.

The SP said that security arrangements were being supervised by five ASPs, 17 DSPs, 75 CIs, 190 SIs and 270 constables.
