Breather for consumers as LPG price comes down

Here’s a good news for LPG consumers as prices of both domestic and commercial cylinders has come down.

The price of LPG was cut by Rs. 47 for a domestic cylinder weighing 14.2 kg, bringing the retail selling price to Rs. 578 as against Rs.625. There has been gradual decrease in the price since October 2014, according to Sri Sai Bharat Gas Agency proprietor Potluri Srinivas. Out of Rs.578, a sum of Rs.129.18 would be credited into the account of the consumer in form of subsidy, he said. The price of commercial cylinder weighing 19 kg would be Rs.1,153 as against Rs.1,204. The cost of domestic and commercial cylinders was Rs. 962.50 and Rs. 1701.50 respectively in October 2014, said Mr. Srinivas.
