: The government of Andhra Pradesh and Abu Dhabi–based BRS Ventures Ltd. entered into a partnership for establishment of a 1500–bed hospital in Amaravati at an estimated cost of Rs.12,000 crore and a 300 – bed hospital at Kurnool, both by the year 2018.

A.P Economic Development Board CEO J. Krishna Kishore BRS Ventures Limited Chairman B.R. Shetty signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday according to an official release from the government. The MoU is also for establishment of Asia’s first medical analytics centre and a medical knowledge process outsourcing centre at Amaravati, a medical university, a drug manufacturing unit in A.P, construction of a five-star hotel and a convention centre and 1700–bed hospitals in different parts of the state in the second and third phases.
On the occasion, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu requested Mr. Shetty to give shape to his vision at the earliest to expedite development of the State and promised to provide land as per norms.
