342 pilgrims from AP leave for Haj

Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha S.B., flagged off the flight of Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad on Wednesday.

In all, 342 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh left for Haj pilgrimage in the first batch.

Guntur MLA S.Md. Mustafa, Kurnool MLA Md. Abdul Hafees Khan, Telangana Haj Committee chairman Masiullah Khan, YSRCP leaders Iqbal, Minority Cell president V. Khadar Basha and others were present.

Government is planning to construct Haj House with all facilities in AP and Haj pilgrimage is likely to start from Vijayawada next year, the Deputy Chief Minister said.
