Around 130 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh reached New Delhi safely from Rishikesh on Monday night even as efforts were on to shift 13 people from Nellore, who were stranded at Gupta Kashi, according to officials.

Officials of the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan brought 130 pilgrims hailing from Anantapur and Kadapa districts to New Delhi in four buses and travel arrangements were being made to send to them to their respective native places. Twenty-one people from Chirala in Prakasam district and another 17 from Kuppam were yet to be shifted to New Delhi. They would be brought to New Delhi by Tuesday afternoon, a senior official said.
