Consequent to the road accident near Samayapuram a few days ago, the police has urged public to inform them regarding vehicles which were parked at non-notified spots along highways and other roads in order to check accidents.
A press release here said if vehicles were found parked at non-notified spots without any proper reason causing impediment to vehicular movement or in a manner that could cause an accident or vehicles that had developed technical snag and halted on the road side the matter could be conveyed to the District Special Branch (0431-2333629) or to the District police control room (0431-2333621) or to the nearest police station.
