One person from Mayiladuthurai district tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the central districts on Sunday, according to a bulletin issued by the State Health Department. Out of five active cases, Tiruvarur had two, while Tiruchi, Mayiladuthurai and Thanjavur districts had one case each. There were no active cases in Nagapattinam, Pudukottai, Karur, Perambalur, Ariyalur districts.
