Ministers inspect venue ahead of CM’s visit

Five Ministers on Monday inspected the arrangements being made for the visit of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa to Srirangam on September 13.

The Ministers – O. Panneerselvam, Natham R. Viswanathan, K.P.Munusamy, R.Vaithilingam and N. R. Sivapathi – inspected the venue at the West Chitra Street and the South Chitra Street junction from where the Chief Minister would inaugurate the projects, and lay foundation stone for the new ones. She would also inaugurate the extended annadhanam scheme – 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. – at Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Collector Jayashree Muralidharan and Commissioner of Police Shailesh Kumar Yadav were present.

An official press release said that the Chief Minister would arrive by a special flight from Chennai on September 13 morning and would leave for Chennai after attending the function.
