Essay contest for youth

The District Central Library in association with the New Century Book House would conduct a district level essay writing contest for youths in connection with the National Youth Day observed on January 12 on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. Youths in the age group of 17 to 30 can participate in the essay writing contest on the topic ‘En latchiya kanavugal’ in Tamil. Entries should not exceed eight pages, each with a minimum of 20 lines. Entries should be sent to Selection Committee (National Youth Day Essay Writing Contest), District Central Library, 144, West Boulevard Road, Tiruchi, before January 16, A.P.Sivakumar, District Library Officer, said in a press release.
