Surveys, exit poll banned on Aruvikkara poll day

: The Election Commission has banned publication of the results of all surveys and exit polls in print and electronic media on June 27 in Aruvikkara.

The ban is from 7 a.m. when polling starts up to 5.30 p.m..

In a statement here on Sunday, Chief Electoral Officer for Kerala Nalini Netto also reminded print and electronic media about the ban imposed by the Chief Election Commission on publication of results of poll surveys or any other surveys connected to the by-election during the 48 hours after electioneering ends on June 25. The ban will be on from 5 p.m. on June 25 to 5.30 p.m. on June 27.
