SFI sweeps KU union polls

The Students’ Federation of India has swept the elections to the union of the University of Kerala, winning all the general seats.

Syamili Sasikumar, a third-year Political Science student at University College, was elected chairperson. The Alappuzha native is a SFI State committee member.

R.S. Sreejith, a student of Government Sanskrit College here, was elected general secretary. A Nemom resident, he is a member of the SFI district committee.

Ajay S. Panicker of S.D. College, Alappuzha, University College research student John Williams, and Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, student Meera S Mohan were elected vice chairpersons.

George Jacob of St. Cyril College and L. Harilal of Government Arts College, Karunagapally, were elected joint secretaries.
