Indian Heart Rythm Society (IHRS), the organisation of Cardiac Electrophysiologists, is holding its seventh annual conference here from October 30 to November 1 to highlight the latest advancements in the diagnosis, treatment and care of heart rhythm disorders. M.S. Valiathan, the founder-director of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, will inaugurate the conference on Friday.
Cardiac Electrophysiology is a crucial sub-specialty of Cardiology and the conference will have wide-ranging discussions on the diagnosis and treatment of electrophysiological disorders of heart.
The conference, which is being held in Kerala for the first time, will have more than 50 scientific discussions in two parallel sessions. Over 300 cardiologists will attend.
