The government will complete distribution of textbooks in June itself, Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb has said.
Replying to a submission in the Assembly on Monday by T.V. Rajesh and Benny Behanan on the need for distributing textbooks in a time-bound manner, Mr. Rabb said that 75 per cent of the textbooks had been printed and distributed and the remaining 25 per cent would be delivered this month itself. Already 1.65 crore books had been printed and distributed through post offices by June 7 and the rest would be distributed soon. — Special Correspondent
