Administration clears major landslide debris on NH 275 near Jodupala in Kodagu district on Wednesday.

The South Western Railway has partially cancelled day-time train services of Bengaluru-Mangaluru-Karwar in the coastal region, while it has diverted the night train services via Palakkad and Salem due to landslides in many areas.

A communique from SWR here said the partial cancellation and diversion were due to landslides at many locations between Donigal-Yedakumari-Kadagaravalli-Shiribagilu block of Sakaleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat section of Mysuru Division.

Partial cancellation

Train No. 16575, Yeshwantpur - Mangaluru Jn Express, journey commencing on August 23, 26, 28 and 30 is partially cancelled between Hassan- Mangaluru Jn.

Train No. 16515 Yeshwantpur - Karwar Express journey commencing on August 24, 27, 29 and 31 is partially cancelled between Hassan -Karwar.

Train No. 16576 Mangaluru Jn. - Yeshwantpur Express journey commencing on august 24, 27, 29 and 31 is partially cancelled between Karwar - Hassan.

Train No. 16516 Karwar - Yeshwantpur Express journey commencing on August 23, 25, 28, 30 and September 1 is partially cancelled between Karwar - Hassan.

Diversion

Train No. 16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru – Kannur/Karwar Express journey commencing on August 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and 31 is diverted to run via Tirupattur Jn, Salem, Erode, Palakkad and Shoranur Jn.

Train No. 16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar – KSR Bengaluru Express journey commencing on August 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 is diverted to run via Shoranur Jn, , Palakkad, Erode, Salem and Tirupattur Jn.

Train No. 16517/16523 KSR Bengaluru – Kannur/Karwar Express journey commencing on August 26, 27 and 28 is diverted to run via Tirupattur Jn, Salem, Erode, Palakkad and Shoranur Jn.

Train No. 16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar – KSR Bengaluru Express journey commencing on August 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31is diverted to run via Shoranur Jn, , Palakkad, Erode, Salem and Tirupattur Jn.
