MRPL promises ₹1 cr. to disaster management authority

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) has promised to offer ₹1 crore to the Dakshina Kannada District Disaster Management Authority. The amount, MRPL said in a statement here, would be utilised to procure advanced rescue equipment as well as training personnel in disaster management.

MRPL Managing Director M. Venkatesh handed over a letter in this regard to Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B. Rupesh on Saturday. Company’s Group General Manager (HR) B.H.V. Prasad was present on the occasion.
