The Project Manager of District Aids Control Society, Thangapandian, was placed under suspension on graft charges here on Tuesday.
According to a press release, following complaints of misappropriation of funds, Collector U. Sagayam had ordered an inquiry. Probe revealed that the Project Manager had not handled the finances in a transparent manner and against norms. In the conduct of exhibitions, rallies and other events also, there were discrepancies.
