Chief Minister inaugurates new building

VIRUDHUNAGAR

Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Monday inaugurated the new building of Watrap Panchayat Union through videoconferencing facility.

The new building has 7,698 square feet of plinth area each in the ground floor and first floor. The cost of the new building is ₹2.50 crore.

Hitherto, various sections of the union office were functioning at different locations. All these offices will be placed under one roof.

Minister for Local Administration S.P. Velumnani and Minister for Dairy Development K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji were present with the Chief Minister in Chennai.

Collector A. Sivagnanam, Srivilliputtur MLA M. Chandra Prabha, Project Director (District Rural Development Agency) Suresh, and Sivakasi Revenue Divisional Officer Dinakaran, inspected the new building.
