To facilitate the renovation of Unreserved Ticket (UTS) Counters at the booking office, Ernakulam Jn. (main entry), the UTS counters will be fully closed from February 5 to 20.
Temporary counters
To avoid hardships to passengers the following arrangements have been made — four temporary counters will function for passengers to avail unreserved tickets and season tickets at the PRS centre(Passenger Reservation Centre) outside the main station building and two UTS counter will function at the current reservation counter. The current reservation facility will be shifted to PRS centre temporarily, says a Railway press release.
