Kochi draws up grand plans for bunkering growth

Cochin Port Trust, in its push towards achieving a million-tonne bunkering business in the near future, plans to substantially improve facilities at Quey 4 jetty and build a multi-user liquid terminal on Puthuvype Island in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation.

Chairman Paul Antony, speaking at the opening session of the second edition of International Bunkering Conference organised by the Port Trust said that Kochi would rely on quality and quantity and a friendly tax regime to achieve the targeted volumes.
