58 examination centres in district

The district administration will set up help desks from 6 a.m. on Saturday at railway stations and bus stations in Ernakulam to help students appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses, on Sunday.

According to an official communication, there are 58 exam centres in the district, of which 21 are within the rural limits. Nearly 5,000 students, especially from Tamil Nadu, are expected to appear for the test in the district. District Collector K. Mohammed Y. Safirulla said volunteers at the help desks would guide candidates to the exam centres. The help desk contact number for NEET candidates is 9061518888.
