HC notice to Panampilly Nagar firms

: The Kerala High Court on Monday issued notice to as many as 25 firms operating at Panampilly Nagar despite court restraint against conversion of residential building into commercial ones in the area.

Justice V. Chithambaresh issued the notice on a petition field by Shobha Ramachandran and other residents at Panampilly Nagar.

The court had restrained the Kochi Corporation and the Greater Cochin

Development Authority from issuing permits to convert residential plots at Panampilly Nagar into commercial establishments.
