Edathala police station inaugurated

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday inaugurated the Edathala police station, formed under the Aluva circle limits. The new station constitutes some villages carved out from the Aluva town police station including Erumathala, Edathala, Thevakkal, Nochima, Keezhmadu, Kuttamasherry, and Chalakkal. The new station has 54 posts including one sub-inspector, two women SI, two ASIs and two women ASIs posts. P.J. Noble is the sub-inspector of the new police station. Anwar Sadat, MLA, presided over the opening function.
