Bus strike on Nov. 20

November 15, 2019 01:21 am | Updated 01:21 am IST - Kochi

Close on the heels of organising a march to the State Secretariat raising their various demands, private buses across Kerala will observe a token strike on November 20, demanding hike in fare, student concession and rationalisation of timings in different routes, vis-à-vis KSRTC buses.

Secretary of Kerala State Private Bus Operators’ Federation Lawrence Babu said that bus operators would be forced to begin an indefinite strike if their demands were not met.

The bus operators have further sought steps to ensure co-existence of both private and KSRTC buses.
