Prakash Menon, former military advisor, National Security Council Secretariat, New Delhi, has said that strategic communication between India and Pakistan would be the key to improving the relations between the two countries. He was speaking on ‘Indo-Pak relationship and economic prospects' at a function organised by Kerala Chamber of Commerce and industry here on Tuesday. He said the people of Pakistan in general were confronted by fear and humiliation.
The reasons behind such feelings were the advancements that India had made in the past. While India was moving forward confidently, there was lack of confidence in the neighbour.
An effective communication strategy would help remove the apprehensions, he said. Even in an IT-based environment, communication needed much more focus, he added.
