After successfully participating in the 48-hour Telangana bandh, Commercial Taxes Department officers in the region demand government to solve long-pending demands, including repatriation of all non-local employees working in HOD and cancellation of all deputations made against SPF.

Despite constant agitation by employees from Telangana region, all the important administrative posts like Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners are occupied by non-Telangana officers, said T. Venkateswarlu, general secretary of TCTGOA in a press release on Wednesday. He alleged that the government was ignoring long-pending demand to amend rules, which are in violation of the Presidential orders to pave way for promotions to the head office employees in DCTO and ACTO cadres. He appealed to the employees to extend support to the agitations.
