Relief for TS power utilities employees from Andhra

Employees of Telangana power utilities with Andhra Pradesh nativity, who had been issued relieving orders by the respective companies, got a reprieve on Friday when High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad ruled in their favour staying the orders. The order also called for maintenance of status quo retrospectively from June 9, sources informed.

The orders were issued after a group of employees from the TSSPDCL filed a writ petition challenging Telangana Government's guidelines for bifurcation of employees of power sector.
