Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Tuesday invoked the P.D. Act against alleged property offender Baba Ismail Khan Pathan. According to police Mr. Pathan is involved in theft cases by diverting attention of his victims, who usually travel in autorickshaws. He used to pretend as though he was ‘adjusting’ the seats of the autorickshaws after which he used to commit the offence.

Police said Mr. Pathan has committed 20 such offences in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. He is currently lodged in Central Prison at Chanchalguda.
