Online course in Islamic Banking

The Institute of Islamic Banking Finance and Insurance (IIBFI), Chennai, will launch an online certificate course in Islamic Banking from September 15. The six-month course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the principles, nature and form of Islamic banking.

Mohd. Asim Farooque, and M.S. Sheriff, directors, IIBFI, told presspersons here on Monday that students from across the globe can avail the course. There was good job potential in Middle East and other countries. The Institute will conduct online live classes with experts.

The course fee is Rs.12,000 and for Ulemas 50 per cent discount is given.
