New app for women’s security

A new mobile app – Raksha: Help in Need – designed for women’s security has been developed by FlatMind, an Avani Technology Solutions firm. It is available for download on Android and iOs platforms.

FlatMind, a subsidiary of Avani Technology Solutions, developed a free mobile application ‘. The app, developed to provide better security to the mobile-users, is available in both Android and iOS platforms, a press release said.

Once installed, the application will sends an SMS to the preloaded numbers whenever we shake the phone. SMS will contain the exact location details and the app will post your distress call, along with address of current location and map, online on Facebook and Twitter platforms.

One can also send a picture with the emergency message, or can call police with just a click of a button, the release said. The application also has features like ‘Locate Me’ – to find out one’s exact locations, alarm sounds and flash light.
