The Centre for Animal Law of the NALSAR University of Law here has focussed on bringing out better key regulations and recommendations on laws for animals within the country and outside.
The Centre signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Centre for Animal Law and Policy headquartered in Spain for promoting courses, student exchanges and research in the field of animal welfare and protection in India. The MoU would pave the way for plethora of career options for students opting for the exchange programmes, Nalsar’s Animal Law Centre director N.G. Jayasimha said.
He said the MoU would promote international academic cooperation which would involve student and scholar exchange programme development of mutually beneficial exchange process for teaching, research and outreach activities. The Centre was the first of its kind in the country dedicated to creating curriculum on animal law.
