Temperature to cross 40 degree C in next few days

Hot days are ahead with the Meteorological Department indicating that the maximum temperatures are likely to rise by three to five degree Celsius and even cross the 40 degree Centigrade in the next few days with dry conditions all over Telangana with the prevailing easterly to south easterly winds.

The maximum temperature, which will be in the range of 34 degree Centigrade to 42 degree Centigrade while the minimum temperature will be in the range of 16 degree Centigrade to 22 degree Centigrade, as per the weather bulletin issued by the TS Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

High day temperatures

To be more precise day temperatures range will be between 34 degree Centigrade to 39 degree Centigrade while mininum temperature will be in the range of 18 degree Centigrade to 20 degree Centigrade in the districts of Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Jagtial, Warangal (U), Warangal (R), Jangaon, Yadadri-Bhongiri, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Khammam.

Maximum temperature will be in the range of 36 degree Centigrade to 42 degree Centigrade and minimum temperatures will be in the range of 20 degree Centigrade to 22 degree Centigrade in the districts of Adilabad, Komrambhem-Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool and Jogulamba- Gadwal.

Director of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here Y.K. Reddy said the current period is a transition one yet normal change before the onset of summer hence there will be variation in the day and night temperatures of up to four degree Celsius. The department will come out with a summer forecast in the middle of March which would be valid up to June.
