Food Commission chief assumes office

The governing body of Telangana State Food Commission led by K. Tirumal Reddy as its Chairman assumed office at a function here on Monday.

Besides Mr. Reddy, V. Anand, K. Goverdhan Reddy, R. Sharada, B. Sangulal and M. Bharati assumed office as Members of the Commission.

Speaking at a function at Ravindra Bharati Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha said that the Commission had the responsibility of implementing the Food Security Act properly.

Legislators Gampa Goverdhan, E. Ravinder Reddy, Pathuri Sudhakar Reddy, Rajeshwar Rao, Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, Cultural Council Chairman Rasamayi Balakishan, Libraries Corporation Chairman A. Sridhar and others attended.
