Chain snatchers struck at five places - thrice in L.B. Nagar within an hour and twice in KPHB Colony in 30 minutes - in Cyberabad on Monday. Police suspect that the same persons could be responsible for the snatching incidents.
The snatcher riding a black two-wheeler took away the gold chain of Uma Rani of Green Hills colony around 9 a.m. Twenty minutes later, the offender struck at Chitra Layout snatching the chain of Laxmi and of Sumathi at Shiva Ganga Colony and sped away. Two women fell prey to chain snatchers in K.P.H.B. Colony.
