Renowned Indian playback singer Rekha Bhardwaj would perform her songs at a concert called Cinema Soul as part of The Hindu November Fest at Ravindra Bharathi at 7.30 p.m. on November 25.

Ms. Bhardwaj, known for her distinctive style of singing, has won the Global Indian Music Awards in Best Duet category for the song Kabira with Touchi Raina, and has also bagged a National Award for her song Badi Dheere Jali from Ishqiya . Known for her Sufi-esque performance style and soulful voice, Ms. Bhardwaj has performed across the globe.

The concert Cinema Soul is a journey through the feisty and soulful music of Ms. Bhardwaj. A narrative that traverses the arc of her career as a playback singer, the performance would also be a celebration of the many characters and choreographies that have come alive through her music, allowing the music to become a story, and the story to become a sensation, and thereby a memory that lasts forever.
