A 35-year-old man was murdered allegedly by two brothers over an extramarital affair. Syed Imran, who used to work as a customer service officer at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was killed allegedly by Syeed Bin Barabood and his younger brother Saif Bin Sabeth Barabood for allegedly having an affair with two women in their family.

According to DCP V. Satyanarayana, Imran was reported missing on January 5 by his mother Syeda Afsha. On January 4 the two brothers had allegedly lured Imran to the Rythu Bazar at Falaknuma. They then took him to a rented house at Bandlaguda and allegedly slit his throat, killing him instantly.

Imran was a relative of the two accused, police said.
