Key projects of the Aam Aadmi Party government, including the recently-opened Signature Bridge and mohalla clinics, were among the highlights of the official Delhi pavilion at the India International Trade Fai (IITF) that began on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the Delhi pavilion, Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said the theme of the pavilion this year was “rural enterprise in India”. In a statement, he said though the space given to the city government was insufficient, the Delhi pavilion tried to showcase the improvements in health, education and industry. Due to construction activity at the venue, Pragati Maidan, the scale of the entire fair has been reduced this year.

At the pavilion, visitors can see models of Signature Bridge, which was inaugurated on November 4 after years of delay, and a mohalla clinic, the AAP government’s flagship healthcare initiative.
