‘She was trembling in pain’

“She was trembling due to the pain caused by the monsters,” said the uncle of the two-year-old rape victim, who first spotted her in a park close to their house.

It is alleged that the girl was raped and assaulted, allegedly by two people who abducted her from outside her house on Friday night and later dumped her in the park.

The man said that his wife and he found their niece, who is the only daughter of his younger brother, with injuries on the face. But her private parts that were bleeding profusely, he added.

“Some of her clothes were gone. She could not say a word, but when she saw us she seemed a bit assured. I called a PCR van and they took her to the Sanjay Gandhi hospital,” he said.
