After Udyog Bhawan, now Green Park and Jor Bagh metro stations are also going to be turned into an art and culture hubs.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH), New Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday to develop Green Park and Jor Bagh metro stations on the Yellow Line in a way that would create awareness regarding heritage sites among the general public. As per the MoU, DMRC will allocate prominent locations of the concourse area of the two metro stations for the installation of exhibition panels displaying photographs and information of the heritage sites in the country with its historical reference. The aim would also be to promote Indian heritage by taking these subjects to the commuters.

To promote book reading among commuters, book stores have also been opened at the Kashmere Gate and Vishwavidyalaya Metro stations by the National Book Trust as well as Sahitya Akademi.
