In a bid to improve surveillance and patrolling, the Delhi Police will now use mini drones fitted with night vision cameras for the job.

The project may start in North Delhi from the New Year. Each one of these drones would fly at a height of approximately 200 metres and will cover a hexagonal grid area of three to four kms. The feed will be linked to Quick Response Teams.
