DUTA chief cries foul

May 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - New Delhi:

The president of the DU teachers’ body and senior St Stephen’s faculty member, Nandita Narain, is caught in a row. Delhi University wrote to Stephen’s highlighting complaints against Narain, but the college shot the communication down saying that the charges were not specific to it. Therefore, DU would be the appropriate authority for initiating any action in the matter, it said.

Some DU-affiliated colleges like Kalindi College, Deshbandhu College and the varsity’s School of Open Learning (SOL) had complained to the DU administration that Narain has been interfering in their functioning. —PTI
